Wednesday Night Classes

Spring Session:  April 18th - May 9th, 2018

TLC offers a variety of electives from which to choose. Electives include classes in areas of Bible studies, biblical principles, relationship issues, and special interests. These classes are offered 3 times yearly: Winter, Spring and Fall.

Join us with the entire family for dinner in Monschke Hall (Bldg. 7000), 5:15–6:15pm. The cost for dinner is $6 for adults; $3 for children ages 3–12; $15 for a family of 4 or more. The adult classes at 6:30–7:45pm vary. Children's programs offered simultaneously.

  • TLC School of Theology:  Church Roots

    Teacher:  Mike Taylor – Rm. 7106 – Understand the church and you’ll understand history.  Today Christianity has grown from a small group of 120 believers to over one-third of earth’s population.  Discover this amazing story.  Journal fee:  $10

    Women’s Class:  - “A Lineage Of Grace”-by Francine Rivers - Teacher:  Kim Breuninger, Women’s Director – Rm. 7102  - Five Stories of Unlikely Women Who Changed Eternity.   Book Fee $11.00. 

    RomansVerse by Verse – (a continuation from winter semester) -Teacher: Pastor Paul Spurlock -  Rm. 7100 - There’s so much to learn:  the gospel, how we’re saved, how we’re to relate to the world & each other, battling sin & growing up in Jesus, & more.

    Embrace Grace - Women’s Group  - Facilitator: Rachael White   - Modular 8122 - Hope, grace, fellowship and support offered for women with unplanned pregnancy.  Go to www.tlc.org/embracegrace for more info. 

    The Dramatic Conclusion to the Book of Esther - Teacher: John Payne MD (Past President – Medical Ambassadors International)- Rm. 7104 – Learn a fun way to study the Bible with stories from the book of Esther. High interaction and application.

    Walking the Bible: Israel Past and Present – (a continuation from winter semester) – Teacher:  Pastor Dave Hicks -  Rm. 7103 - Ever had questions about some of the stories in the Bible?  Walk through the Bible with open eyes to see the salvation that God is accomplishing.

    Singles 45+  - (a continuation from winter semester)“The Book of James” by Pastor Francis Chan -  Facilitator:  Wayne Smith -  Office Lobby, Rm. 6100 - Inspiring  truths that apply to everyday life and help build an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. 

    Uke For Joy  - Facilitators: Pam Hicks, Kathy Moeller & Dick Garwood -Rm. 7105 - A fun ukulele get together to praise God. Bring a smile, your ukulele, and a music stand. Beginners meet 6-6:30 for help getting started.

    Young Families -   Teacher:  Pastor Steve Craig – Rm. 10101 Communication can be challenging and easily misunderstood with others and also with God.  We’ll study the Lord’s Prayer which Jesus taught in Matthew 6.
