Art Show Guidelines

We want this art show to foster a sense of community and provide an opportunity for us to encourage the wide array of talent found at Twin Lakes Church.
Works on canvas, watermedia, paper, drawing (including pastels), photography, sculpture, metal work, woodwork, needlework, fiber crafts, stained glass, pottery or poetry are acceptable. The work must be an original composition or creation. Assembled kits are not encouraged unless they've been substantially modified. Sculpture footprint cannot be more than 2' x 3' or weigh more than 50 pounds. Art must be appropriately framed, ready for wall mounting and should not exceed 3' in any direction. If the art is not to be wall mounted please provide a labeled easel for your art. Please submit a Bible verse or passage to help the viewer understand the theme you had in mind. All decisions concerning the suitability of an entry will be made by Twin Lakes Church. Subjects are not limited to strictly religious topics. Please keep in mind the art will be displayed in the church lobby and will be viewed by all ages.
Transportation, delivery and pick-up of works are the responsibility of the artist. The works may be brought to TLC between 9am and 5pm Wednesday, September 10th — Thursday, September 11th. The art will be on display the weekend of September 13th & 14th before and after all the weekend services. Art may be picked up anytime between 9am and 5pm Monday, September 15th — Wednesday, September 17th.
Tremendous care will be taken with every work. By delivering the work of art, the artist agrees to hold Twin Lakes Church harmless for any loss or damage.
If you would like to be a part of our Art Show please call the church office and let us know what you'd like to submit. We have a limited amount of space but we want to include as many artists as we can!
