What is Venue?

  • A new church service at Twin Lakes Church
There are currently three services at TLC in the auditorium: Saturday at 6pm, Sunday at 9am, and one at 10:45am. Adding another 10:45am service will accommodate up to 300 more people at that time.
  • Opportunity to be in close community
Along with small groups and men’s and women’s ministries, the Venue service will have its own opportunities to connect with people, develop friendships, and grow together spiritually.
  • Held in the smaller space of Monschke Hall
The auditorium (Bldg 500) can host over a thousand people, but Monschke Hall is limited to around 250. A smaller space means an environment where people can more easily connect.
  • Live music and host, with the same great teaching as the other services via video feed
Omar Spence and a TLC band will lead worship for everyone at Venue, and Eric Swanson-Dexel will be there Sundays to shepherd the community. The teaching that happens in the auditorium will be on the screen in Monschke Hall, so everyone at TLC will hear the same message.
  • Fresh coffee and pastries
We’ll have coffee and pastries available every Sunday morning, and even more options at the outdoor coffee hut.
  • Family room option for children and their parents
One of the more distinctive features of Venue is an entire room devoted to families with small children. If your children aren’t ready for the children’s classes, or just simply would prefer to be at the church service with you, this is the place for you. The same message will be displayed on two 52″ TV screens, and you’ll hear the same live music with the lyrics on screen. Various child-friendly activities will be available—coloring pages, toys, and everything else to make your kids feel at home.
