What distinguishes Surf City Jobs from other job search resources is the small group emphasis and ongoing support needed to find that next job. Team members, who make up Success Teams, meet for two hours on a weekly basis, to provide support and motivation needed to find that next job in a challenging job market.
The agenda for success team meeting includes training on topics such as using social media during a job search, improving outcomes from a phone screen interview, and marketing your special talents.
Drawing on support from the success team, job seekers find new approaches they can use in their job search, rather than repeat the techniques that do not work for them. Surf City Jobs provides the powerful energy needed to find a job, a forum to compare notes with other jobs seekers, and the ongoing support to discover what job search methods work best for each individual.
Experts state that one of the most important ways to find work is through networking. The success teams offer training on how to get the most out of networking. Team members also network with each other, other team members may know employees at companies you are interested in working for and be able to make an introduction for you.
Surf City Jobs is sponsored by Twin Lakes Church. As a faith-based group, we welcome job seekers that are not Twin Lakes Church members. There is no cost to attend.
