Our Beliefs About Marriage
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness. For the sake of your future happiness, we believe it’s important for couples to be united in their faith.
Therefore, our pastors are unable to perform weddings between a Christian and a non-Christian, or for couples with significantly differing beliefs about their faith.
God’s Design for Purity
Scripture teaches that physical intimacy is a wonderful gift meant to be enjoyed within marriage (1 Thessalonians 4:3–8; 1 Corinthians 6:18). During premarital counseling, our pastors will lovingly discuss this topic.
If you are currently living together or sexually active, we encourage you to:
- Live separately,
- Remain celibate until your wedding night, and
- Use this time to strengthen emotional and spiritual intimacy.
Our desire is not to add pressure but to help you experience God’s best for your relationship.
