People’s Pantry
Providing food for those in need

Description
1 in 3 people in Santa Cruz County are food insecure. People’s Pantry exists to share Christ’s love through meeting the practical need of food.
Need Help?
We have a drive-thru distribution on every Wednesday (rain or shine) from 3:45 to 5:15 PM in our TLC parking lot behind Monschke Hall. Follow the signs near the construction site on campus. There is no need to register ahead of time. We give away a dry bag of goods, a bag of fresh produce, bread, and a protein source (meat, eggs, milk or the like).
Want to Support the Pantry
If you would like to donate food, you can drop off your donations in the People's Pantry barrel in the church office lobby Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM or the sanctuary lobby barrels on the weekends during the services.
Please NO expired or previously opened food - check the labels before donating. Thank you.
Items that are helpful: 1 lb. bags of rice, cold cereal (please no sugary cereals), 15oz. canned chili, 15oz. canned veggies, mac and cheese, 15oz. canned diced tomatoes, 15oz. canned beans (black, pinto, refried...), 15oz. canned soups, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, jam, salad dressing, cooking oils, nuts, pasta, ramen, canned chicken, beverages, any other canned or boxed goods.
Household items and toiletries are also welcomed - laundry and dish soap, bar or liquid hand soap, sponges, all-purpose cleaners, and so forth.
We also collect one dozen size egg cartons and paper grocery size bags with handles. We do not take any plastic bags.
You can also give monetary gifts to People's Pantry through tlc.org/give. Mark in the memo line that your donation is for the pantry.
Presently, I have enough volunteers for this ministry. I cannot take anymore volunteers.
