Young Professionals

Welcome to Young Professionals

YPM is a space for young professionals (ages 22–39) to explore faith, grow in their understanding of Scripture, and build relationships that encourage living out God’s purpose in everyday life. Together, we seek to think, act, and live like Jesus—empowered by God’s Spirit and shaped by His Word.

01 — Identity

Everything starts with Jesus. Through the gospel and the truth of Scripture, we discover who we are and what we were made for. YPM creates space to engage God's Word honestly and let it reshape how we see ourselves—and the world around us.

02 — Authentic Relationships

We weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone. YPM is built on real community—friendships marked by grace, encouragement, and shared life through every season.

03 — Living by Faith

Faith isn’t just what we believe; it’s how we live. At YPM, we learn to follow Jesus with wisdom, courage, and integrity in every part of life—from work and relationships to calling and purpose.

FAQs

Our Young Professionals Ministry is for anyone—regardless of career or vocation—who is in the post-college, pre-family stage of life. We welcome adults ages 22–39 who are navigating early career, relationships, faith, and the realities of everyday life.

We gather every Tuesday night at 6 PM at The Loft Coffee in Aptos for dinner, small groups, and connection.

Not at all—this space is open to anyone looking for community, regardless of church background.

The group gathers for dinner from 6:00–6:30 PM ($10 suggested donation). The food changes each week and is always really good. Around 6:30, we do a short welcome and introduction to the material, then break into small groups to walk through the Scripture passage and discussion questions. This is a safe place to ask questions, share insights, or simply listen. Groups are open, so you’re free to move between groups from week to week to find the best fit. After small groups, we come back together for a brief review and prayer. From there, people usually hang out at the coffee shop, head out for late-night activities, or stick around to ask more questions.

We occasionally plan worship nights and outside events to build deeper connection and community. To stay updated on upcoming events, join the GroupMe.

Please do! This is a great environment for inviting others into faith-filled community without pressure.

The best way to stay connected is to join our GroupMe. You can also follow us on Instagram @tlc_young_professionals to get updates and event details. For any other questions feel free to reachout to jared@tlc.org.

Our Young Professionals Ministry is led by Jared Booye along with a team of staff and volunteers who understand the challenges of this season and are committed to helping you thrive in faith and community.
