People's Pantry

People’s Pantry exists to share Christ’s love through the sharing of our food and lives, and to provide our people with an opportunity for service & fellowship.

We have a drive-thru distribution on Wednesdays from 4 to 5:15 PM in our TLC parking lot near the modulars and Monschke Hall. Follow the signs. Please do not line up before 3:30 PM as we have school traffic that needs to move throughout the parking lot.

If you would like to donate food, you can drop off your donations in the People's Pantry barrel in the church office lobby Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM or the sanctuary lobby barrels on the weekends during the services.

Please NO expired or previously opened food - check the labels before donating. Food items we need are: tuna and other canned meats, peanut butter, mac and cheese and other pasta, diced canned tomatoes, pasta sauce, canned soup, canned fruit and veggies, canned beans or chili, oatmeal, breakfast cereal boxes, jam, cake or cookie mixes and so forth.

Household items and toiletries are also welcomed - laundry and dish soap, bar or liquid hand soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, sponges, all-purpose cleaners, and so forth.

We need empty 1-dozen size egg cartons to give eggs out. If you have 1-dozen size cartons only, please drop them by the church.

Presently, I have plenty of brown paper bags. Please refrain from donating these at the moment. I will let you know when I need more. Thank you! I have no need of any plastic bags.

You can also give monetary gifts to People's Pantry through tlc.org/give. Mark in the memo line that your donation is for the pantry.

If you would like to volunteer to help assemble bags, distribute bags or help with our bread order, please contact  I am in need of a volunteer who is willing to head up our bread pick-up on Tuesday mornings.  This volunteer would need a van or pick up truck to carry all the boxes of bread.  You would have others helping you, but you would help every week, provide the vehicle and store the boxes.  If interested or need more info, contact
