“Flawed Follower” is a 7-week series discovering Jesus through the eyes of Simon Peter. Discover how Jesus has a great destiny for flawed followers. Like Peter. And, like you.

As part of TLC’s Midweek Wed Night program (including the Awana program), we will be hosting a specific Flawed Follower Small Group for Parents of Young Families. This group starts Wed Sept 25 (one week after Awana officially starts)!

  • Infants + Pre-K will have a Wed Night Program
  • K-5th Grade will be doing Awana (kids who are not registered for the whole year of Awana can still join in when their parents come for a Wed night class!)

We are the first generation to raise digital natives — kids who’d rather text than talk. And, let’s be honest, it’s hard. In fact, surveys reveal that technology is the number one battleground in homes today. Screens have seeped into every corner of our kids’ lives, and many of us are trying to navigate this unpaved parenthood road alone.

TLC is passionate about offering Screen Sanity Parent Seminars, which offer practical ways for families to maximize the benefits of technology while minimizing the harmful side effects.

Featuring expert-led videos, discussion questions and take-home tips, we will cover today’s most pressing digital health topics. Parents will walk away with a vision for creating screentime boundaries, introducing smartphones, managing screen-related meltdowns and protecting kids from mature or unsafe content.

Join us at MomCo: a ministry to gather and support all moms!

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) has changed its name to MomCo in an effort to expand to include moms with children at any age. First-time pregnant moms are welcome, too! Here at MomCo, we gather and support all moms.

We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month Sept. through May beginning on Sept 12, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 am.

Baby Dedications: Oct 12 & 13

Our fall Baby Dedication is the weekend of October 12th and 13th! Child dedication is a great way for us as a church to celebrate our littlest TLCers and is an important spiritual marker in the life of a child and the life of a family. “Single and Parenting” is a program designed for single parents to find practical and spiritual help as they seek to successfully guide their children into adulthood.

Come join us Sundays 10:45-12:15 in room 8122 as we share in the unique challenges of single parenting and encouraging one another.
